I am Ashley Bower-Dyke, and I have been working in Sandhurst for most of my working life.
As a small business owner in Sandhurst, my main goal is to see the community of Sandhurst continue to thrive and maintain its unique identity. Many of you will know me from CM Decorative Supplies, serving you paint and other items while we put the world to rights.
Recently, Groups using the Memorial Ground were under threat from a group of individuals who wanted all leases on the Memorial Park to be reviewed. The majority of the council's leases are with not-for-profit organisations, which means that local facilities such as the Day Centre, Gardening Club, and sports clubs would have had to pay more. I will ensure that all groups are treated fairly and equitably.
If elected, I will also work closely with local businesses to ensure they remain relevant and convenient for all residents. I am also keen to see improved support for young people and the provision of facilities and events that allow families to have fun and stay healthy.
My job allows me to be in contact with residents throughout the week, giving me an opportunity to get the views of local residents and incorporate them into the
council's plans and services.
With your support, I know I can make a difference and be a strong voice for you at the Council. Finally, my campaign will be positive and upbeat for Sandhurst.
