Bracknell Forest Residents Survey - Covid 19

Bracknell Forest Residents Survey - Covid19

We'd like your views on the local social, economic and environmental impact of Covid-19 on our residents.

Everyone has experienced significant changes to their daily lives during lockdown, with the closures of businesses, schools and workplaces. Some will have also suffered the loss of a loved one to Covid-19, which will have made this time even more difficult.

The survey should take approximately 10-15 minutes to complete and your feedback will be used to understand and shape our Recovery Strategy, which is being developed to outline the policies, initiatives and actions that we'll undertake alongside our partners to help the district recover from the current situation.

The questions are asked in no particular order and there is an option to leave any question blank, if you don't feel comfortable to answer.

In our Manifesto for the 2019 Local Elections - we made a series of commitments to our Residents

As we move to the "New Normal" we are looking to make sure our priorities still match your priorities.

Please select which are your Top 2 priorities for the Council over the next few years

• We will support school governors, headteachers and staff to provide the best education for your children. • We will provide sufficient school places to meet demand. • We will encourage local businesses to engage with local schools to provide expertise that will assist in preparing your child for life after school.
• We will keep your Council Tax as low as possible. • We will focus on strong financial management. • We will listen to residents to ensure the services people need have the right priority and resources are delivered by the right people for the job.
We will continue our commitment to keep Bracknell Forest prosperous and thriving so employers see the borough as a great place to stay and grow. • We will continue the phased regeneration of Bracknell town centre. • But its not just about Bracknell town centre. We will seek to keep neighbourhood centres thriving at the heart of each community.
• We will focus on promoting healthy living and self-care to keep people out of hospital. • We will focus on mental health services especially for young people. • We will collaborate with the NHS, GPs and other health and care agencies to deliver more joined up services.
• We will protect valued green spaces and strategic gaps between existing communities. • Where development happens we will deliver better roads, school places, accessible open spaces and work with partners to get more health care facilities. • We will support policy compliant development that also delivers social and shared ownership homes.
As we recover from the impacts of the pandemic. Which FIVE of these local issues do you think should be prioritised in our Bracknell Forest recovery plan?

Help us to shape our long term response to Covid19
