Strong D&I policies can attract top talent and get many more supporting the party. A strong policy will reflect fair representation and more engagement - which is more relevant than ever before. Although policies alone are not enough to build an inclusive culture, nevertheless, having one will encourage more Associations to have diverse membership and an officers team. A robust D&I policy at its most basic level, it is about ensuring that no one feels left out because of their age, disability, gender reassignment, race, religion or belief, sex, sexual orientation.
