One of Crowthorne's most popular annual traditions returns on Saturday 4th July as the Crowthorne Carnival Procession and Fete officially launches Carnival Week 2026.
This year's carnival theme, "Planet Earth", will see local schools, community groups, organisations and residents come together to create a colourful procession through the village, celebrating everything that makes Crowthorne such a special community.
The procession will depart from Wellington College at 12 noon, travelling along Dukes Ride and the High Street before arriving at Morgan Recreation Ground, where the celebrations continue throughout the afternoon.
At Morgan Recreation Ground, visitors can enjoy the traditional Carnival Fete, featuring a wide range of attractions including community and charity stalls, arena performances, live entertainment, a funfair, food and drink vendors, a dog show and plenty of activities for the whole family.
The Carnival Fete remains one of the largest community events in the village calendar, bringing together local organisations, businesses, volunteers and residents for a day of fun, friendship and celebration.
Events such as these are only possible thanks to the dedication of the Carnival Committee and the many volunteers who work throughout the year to organise and deliver such a fantastic occasion for the community.
Whether you're taking part in the procession, supporting a local stall, or simply coming along to enjoy the atmosphere, we encourage everyone to get involved and support this wonderful village tradition.
