Bracknell shortlisted for Town of the Year

Bracknell is shortlisted in the Town of the Year category as part of the Thames Valley Property Awards. Our Conservative led Borough Council has delivered on its key manifesto commitment to deliver a new town centre which will open on 7 September.

Bracknell libraries - Volunteers are the key

Our four Finchampstead borough councillors, Cllr Charles Margetts, Cllr Ian Pittock, Cllr Rob Stanton and Cllr Simon Weeks, are pushing for a new safe cycleway from Finchampstead to the newly-opened Bohunt School in Sheerlands Road, Arborfield.

New town centre will create 3500 jobs

Opening on 7 September, the Lexicon Bracknell will provide a new social and cultural heart for Bracknell, creating 3,500 new jobs for local people across retail, hospitality and security sectors.

John Nike OBE passed away aged 81

John Nike OBE passed away at the age of 81 on December 25 at the Royal Berkshire Hospital with his wife Sue by his side. “It is with sadness that I have to announce that my husband John died peacefully on Christmas Day,” said Sue.
