Four of our local Conservative members – Gill Birch, Lynne Hughes, Liz Boutle and Ashley Bower-Dyke – took part in a community litter pick in Hanworth on Saturday 12th July. The event was a great success, with a large amount of rubbish collected, including a full canister of nitrous oxide among other items.
During the litter pick, the team met a local resident named Chris who was also out picking litter. He goes out regularly to help keep the area clean – well done to him for his continued efforts.
A kind passer-by and his young son gave the team bottles of cool water and thanked them for their work. Several other residents stopped to talk and show their appreciation throughout the morning.
Thank you to everyone who took part and supported the event. It's a great example of community spirit and pride in keeping Hanworth clean and welcoming.
