Real experience. Straight answers. Better for Forest Park.
Surendra Panchal brings a lifetime of experience shaped by community service, business leadership and a strong commitment to local people.
He moved to the UK in 1987 and has proudly called Bracknell Forest home for the past decade. Over more than 35 years, Surendra has contributed to his community through sport, enterprise and public service. In the 1990s, he helped build junior cricket programmes, supporting over 150 young people to develop their skills and confidence.
Professionally, Surendra founded a consultancy specialising in alcohol licensing, food safety and health and safety compliance. As a member of the Institute of Licensing, he has spent nearly 20 years supporting around 5,000 independent businesses across the UK, helping them navigate regulations, stay compliant and grow successfully.
He also founded the British Association of Asian Restaurateurs and Retailers, giving independent business owners a stronger voice, breaking down barriers and helping them engage more effectively with councils and public bodies.
In recent years, Surendra has served as Chairman of the Lions Club, leading local work on prostate cancer awareness and fundraising. Away from work, he is a lifelong cricket enthusiast and qualified umpire, often spending weekends on the field with his family.
