Dale represents the ward of Little Sandhurst and Wellington on the Bracknell Forest Borough Council and the Little Sandhurst ward on Sandhurst Town Council.
"I have served the community since 1984. I have focused on keeping our heritage, open spaces, and resisting inappropriate development. When the Alford Close development came up I made sure that it provided a much-needed community hall. There is always pressure for more housing which is why I encouraged a robust response to the new comprehensive local plan. It is important to protect our heritage and community assets and to make sure we do not join up with our neighbours. With your support I will keep putting Little Sandhurst first."
As a Borough Councillor Dale is particularly active in making sure that there is a strong Bracknell Forest local plan that ensures housing is only developed where it is sustainable and appropriate. As Chairman of the Health and Wellbeing Board he is keen to ensure that all agencies delivering health and care to the residents of Sandhurst and the whole borough deliver the best possible services. He is also responsible for Adult Social Care, Health and Housing where he has to ensure that all our elderly and vulnerable residents are properly cared for and that residents in need of a home are properly housed.
To relax Dale enjoys (if that’s the right term) long distance cycling and raises money for local good causes like the Sandhurst Day Centre.
